Stopping Political Correctness

How can we as people stop politically correctness from destroying our day to day existance? When did haveing an opinion become incorrect? Just because not everyone may agree with your own thoughts on life should not mean you are forced to not speak your mind in fear you will be labled because of it. When did the expression “sticks and stones may break our bones but words will never hurt us” no longer exist? When did words become a lethal weapon? when did expressions become something you must pre vet in fear it may offend someone? It’s about time we stopping being so thined skinned, opened our minds and realised not everyone will agree or disagree with what we have to say but we still DO have the right to say what we think.
